Potpourri
• Keep out of reach of children and pets and never ingest.
• Keep out of direct contact with fine fabrics and furniture.
• Fragrance will last longer in a controlled climate – the warmer the room, the faster the aroma will dissipate.
• Direct sunlight or a heating vent will also shorten the life of potpourri.
• If you want a boost in aroma, toss or stir the elements – this movement will release fragrance trapped in between botanicals.
Candles
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets
• Always trim your wicks – we use metal free cotton wicks that burn clean, but always trimming the wick before each use will keep your candle fine-tuned.
• Burn a candle for 3-4 hours the very first time. A rule of thumb would be to burn a candle one hour per inch of diameter. This will keep the candle from tunneling and increase preferred performance.
• Keep candles out of drafts – not only for safety reasons, but a draft will cause your candle to be out of balance. Drafts can cause the flame to be off center which may result in your candle not performing to its designed potential.
• In the rare case of candle fire…NEVER USE WATER…always smother the flame with a non-flammable lid or cover.
• Direct sunlight will fade color and zap your candle of fragrance.
