The product description was not clear for me. It stated that it is made of porcelain and excepted that it would be like regular porcelain dish: thinner and lighter compare to regular stoneware dish. This dish is very heavy and really thick, beige color. It looks like it made of either stoneware or earthware, not like a porcelain at all. Fits and Floyd customer support team confirmed that it is porcelain. I checked weight of my other home stoneware dishes same size and they are in range 9-13 oz, but this dish is 16 oz, heavier then anything that I have same size made of stoneware.
